Lacy & DJ’s Key West wedding took placed at one of the most scenic, tucked away locations in the Keys. A relatively new place to get married, the views are just incredible. We were fortunate to have clear weather and nice lighting throughout the ceremony and photos. Having photographed a childhood friend of Lacy’s a couple of years ago, we have been looking forward to this particular wedding for some time. Both Lacy & DJ were slightly nervous at first, but came away with big smiles. Many of these photos were given a sepia-esque treatment as it worked so well. Especially with Lacy’s dress. Jill & Al @ Reach ResortTuesday, March 2nd, 2010Jill & Al couldn’t have picked a better day to have their wedding in Key West. The weather had been cold and rainy leading into the big day, but cleared up just in time for their ceremony. We did all of the photos before the ceremony which took place right as the sun disappeared below the horizon. Tara & Marty @ Reach ResortTuesday, February 23rd, 2010Tara and Marty’s Key West wedding took place during a rainy afternoon on the gazebo at the Reach Resort (Waldorf Astoria Collection). It was a relatively small group of family & friends that had a great time despite the weather. The ceremony started just as the rain subsided and ended not a moment too soon! It was our second wedding this weekend at the Reach which makes things a bit more challenging to do something different than the day before. 15 minutes @ Fort Zachary TaylorThursday, February 11th, 2010Laura & Jake had their ceremony Saturday afternoon at St. Mary’s Start of the Sea church in Key West followed by a photo session at various locations around Old Town. We only had an hour before the limo had to move on to the next wedding. Having photographed their engagement photos, we were pretty comfortable and knew what to expect from each other. The bridal party, on the other hand, really had no idea, but jumped in without missing a beat. This part of the hour truly only lasted 15 minutes from the time we jumped out of the limo, walked to the fort, took our photos and jumped back in. Looking back, I am not sure how we pulled it off. Laura & Jake were married at Saint Mary’s Star of the Sea church in Key West, Florida.
