“I love love love the wedding pictures! I’ve been staring at them for 2.5 hours now! On a brisk NYC day in late September, I met Shannon Lewis for coffee to discuss her wedding to long time boyfriend Marc Kudisch. As actors, they spend a lot of time infront of audiences, cameras & lights. They were looking for something very different for their wedding day. They wanted simple, elegant & natural. A few weeks later, on a beautiful & mild day in Key West it was wedding day. We started at the classic Casa Marina Resort where I got to do some portraits of Shannon & Marc got to see her for the first time in a private first look. After a session around the property, we walked to the Reach Resort for an intimate ceremony at the gazebo with Aaron Wechter officiating. Shannon & Marc were graced with one of the most vibrant sunsets we’ve had all year in Key West. It was such a pleasure to work with 2 people that were so comfortable infront of the camera and had so much personality. Shannon has a classic beauty & elegance about her that the camera just loves. Mark has the dashing good looks of true leading men. I had such a great time with both of them. I look forward to seeing them again on my visits to NYC.

The backdrop for Bethany & Jeffrey’s Key West wedding was a perfect tropical day at the always beautiful Ocean Key Resort. I started with Bethany & her family and she was cool as a cucumber. We then went to Fort Zachary for Jeffrey’s first look at his new bride. It was romantic & fun, just like the 2 of them. After that we headed to the Ocean Key for their ceremony performed by the wonderful Sue Hyde. Surrounded by fun loving friends & family, they partied the night away on the pier under a perfect night sky. Once again, couldn’t have done without the fabulous ladies of Simply You and the Ocean Key staff as well as Marie-Pierre & Love In Bloom.
