We used John Hunter for our destination wedding. He was AMAZING! I tend to be a little camera shy, but he put me right at ease. John quickly accomplished all of the group photos. Then he followed with the bridal party just being our “crazy” selves. We are a fun loving, goofy group. He captured all of the silly excitement as well as tender moments between my new husband and I. Their easy going personalities, ability to sneak around the event undectected and get those wonderful and invaluable candid photographs, made our event flow so smoothly. When we did the more traditional shots, they were warm, kind and gentle in getting the shots they wanted. They made a huge effort to get all the tables photographed when my mother said she wanted that mid event. All of my family and friends have LOVED the images we have gotten back. I swear he made everyone look better than they did. I haven’t ordered the final album/book yet, but I’m confident that will be as great as their other work so far. We purchased the weekend package and I am so glad that John was there to capture every single moment I absolutely hate getting my picture taken, but John made the entire process fun and carefree. John has a way of making you feel completely comfortable, while at the same time he gets the job done I didn’t even give him a list of pictures I wanted, he just knew the right things to shoot and how to shoot them. John and Hannah Hunter of JHunter Photography were incredible. They were incredibly warm and friendly, and were a great addition to our wedding day. The arrived dressed appropriately, they documented the day just as we requested, took photos quickly and efficiently, but we never felt rushed. Our guests also commented on their professionalism and they made everyone feel comfortable during both the posed and candid shots. They had a lovely combination of experience (knowing which shots work well, where to be) and spontaneity – they came up with new ideas on the spot after being inspired from our unique day.

Post-wedding, the professionalism and exceptional service continued. Communication was consistent, and they got our photos to us quite quickly, considering the wedding season.

Finally, the photos themselves are wonderful. The quality is fantastic and the techniques used to enhance the photos are unique and well done. We highly recommend John and Hannah Hunter!! The lighting on the beach and pier was fantastic. I don’t know if you put sepia filters on some of those pier and ballroom shots, but I love ‘em. They really captured the moment(s) The sky is so blue in some of the others and those wide angle shots of us between the 2 tall palm trees they freak me out (in a good way!!). Awsome job!
